The average person's mind is in a state of constant mental effort, i.e. stree, tension, worry, problems, fears, phobias, anxiety, ambition, etc.

The real breakthrough in Dr Tony Quinn's university research were the following discoveries:

• To use more of your mind it is necessary to relax all mental effort.
• The mind then clears, opens and enters a state of pure attention or consciousness.
• The real key was the discovery of how people could, at will, switch their mind into pure attention.
  

It was always known that the average person was using very little of their mental potential. Now for the first time we have a way of availing of the 'more'. Ultimately in the research, the pure attention mode became known as Unconscous Attention. In the process of people learning to enter Unconscious Attention we made a number of discoveries.
